Overall dissatisfied with our visit. Tried to get in touch with the concierge the 4 hours we were in a car headed to Atlanta. Desk would not take a message for her to return my call and would only say I can give you her email for me to email her? (which I was driving and unable) Room was very clean, as was the hotel and was greeted very warmly upon check in. After that, employees were inattentive and uninterested. TV guide was not working, we litterally had to flip channel to channel to find something to watch and the front desk could not have cared less. Showed up 30 mins early for our spa session (as instructed) and sat there for 45mins until a lady that had already walked by us (three times) finally stopped and told us that a worker had called in sick and someone would be with us shortly (which ended up being her) The robes in the spa looked ancient, they were frayed and discolored. The same lady that walked by us three times in the 45 mins we sat there twiddling our thumbs ended up giving me a massage and dug her elbows in my back the whole 50minutes. I don't think she knew what she was doing. We were called three times within 10 minutes on Saturday morning asking if we wanted our room cleaned (which we said no all three times) we get back to the room later that day and we have a note on the door that said the staff restocked our bar that we had not even touched? Hotel restaurant and bar were both very good. Great brunch. First time being a platinum rewards member with the intercontinental and would not revisit the Atlanta location. Poorly managed and inattentive staff. It was my wifes birthday weekend and we left disappointed and wishing we would have stayed elsewhere.
