Hotel is pretty run down. Rooms are dated. There's duct tape on carpet in hallways. Bathroom ceiling is super low. Showers don't work great. Just feels old.

Location is great for Stamford. Very close to restaurants and shopping.

Front desk staff is mixed. Some seem like zombies who don't want to be there. Some seem overwhelmed by the volume of guests. Some are good.

Concierge lounge is nice. Absolute best thing is the morning woman, Delmy. She is amazing. She is a rock star. That entire morning setup would fall apart without her. And there are so many people for breakfast... you can't believe what an amazing job Delmy does! She's fantastic.

Restaurant downstairs is ok. Food is decent and so is service. Some of the bartenders/waiters wear a ridiculous amount of cologne. Would cut back on that.

Oh, and last thing... look at how management chooses to respond to these reviews. Notice a pattern? They respond to every 5 star/ super positive rating and ask the person to post on Trip Advisor. But no response to any other review. Seriously? How bad is that? Shows what they care about.
