We very recently leased a Toyota Rav4 for our daughter and dealt with a very nice salesman, Kyle Hatchett. Kyle did a great job taking us for several test drives and explaining the details of each vehicle we looked at before we zeroed in on the Rav4. We struggled a bit with the down payment/lease payment negotiation process, but were finally able to agree on terms. The 3-star assessment is the result of the experience picking up the vehicle. My husband and daughter spent over 2 hours at Northtown reviewing paperwork etc, only to discover that the car prepared and registered was NOT the color - inside or out - that we selected at the time of the sale. Kyle was extremely apologetic and took full accountability for the error, which we truly appreciated, however there was no manager above Kyle that expressed any measurable concern about somehow making the situation right, and didn't even so much as meet with my husband in person. At the end of the night, considering the time already spent at Northtown and how much additional time and aggravation it would have taken to make the change to the correct vehicle, my husband and daughter agreed to take the wrong car as is. It is not in any way how we hoped for this transaction to have been completed. This experience was unfortunate, since we are returning customers to Northtown due to the very positive experience we had last year with the leasing of another vehicle.
