These people use hospital liens instead of submitting claims to insurance properly knowing that they can get more money from the lien attached to injury claims. They put my mom, who has Medicare and was injured in a violent car accident, out into the cold in a medical gown at 1am on December 24th with a broken collar bone and two broken wrists, and didn't even bother to write a prescription for her. Over a year and half has passed since the accident and they never sent bills for the services rendered to my mother or father who was also injured, and they never sent notice of the lien. Of course now that their case is being finalized, Floyd Medical Center starts calling a year and half later trying to get information to them about the bill like it just happened last month. My mother has been living with the pain because of the negligence of a distracted driver for over a year, and now these vultures want to come in and take what little monetary consolation she is set to receive from insurance. Thanks for nothing Floyd Medical Center. You should be ashamed!!
