Historic hotel w/ a great staff. It's a old building so don't expect anything to gleem. That said, the beds are new and comfortable the linens and towels are good quality and housekeeping does an excellent job. The restaurants are good, not great. Again, the staff was welcoming and attentive. The apps at bar were tasty (the parmesan truffle fries were a favorite). The folks who ordered the more straightforward items (burgers/sandwiches) tended to be more satisfied that those who were more adventurous (short ribs/ahi tuna). The breakfast buffet was a little expensive for what was on offer. In the $20 per person zone I would look for some charcuterie, some smoked salmon and the breakfast sausage should be upgraded. The criticisms aside, this hotel has a good vibe. I'll return here if I'm in the area.
