DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM GERMAIN TOYOTA OF COLUMBUS, you will be left with hidden damages and thousands of dollars in expenses later on. Germain Toyota of Columbus salespeople are well trained in fraud, deceit and dishonest practices. Their only goal is to get your money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to Germain Toyota of Columbus on Aug 4, 2018 to purchase a 2016 Honda Pilot, Price of the vehicle was agreed over the phone. I had already checked the CARFAX which was clean. The sales person I spoke to is Tanesha Dixon, she gave me good reviews of the vehicle, send me text/ emails explaining how honest they are and the fact that she would love to earn my business !!!!

When i walked into Germain Toyota of Columbus, Tanesha Dixon introduced herself and walked me to her desk. Tanesha showed me the purchase agreement and a bunch of other papers including AS IS and No warranty papers AND Tanesha WANTS ME TO SIGN THE PAPERS AND BUY THE CAR without even looking at the car !!!!!!!
This is the FIRST RED FLAG. At that point i first asked Tanesha Dixon if I could test drive the vehicle.

When we went out to test drive the vehicle, Tanesha Dixon immediately got into the back seat and asked me to get into the driver seat for the drive when i was busy inspecting the car from the outside. It seems she did not want me to inspect the car at all.

Come to find out there is a rear accident and a dent on rear door and loose rear bumper that she was hiding from me, That is the reason she was pushing me to get into the driver seat. When i started inspecting the dent and loose bumper, she got agitated and told me WE KNOW THIS IS AN ISSUE, DON'T MOVE IT AGAIN AND AGAIN,you might break it . I was shocked , we spoke about this vehicle many times over the phone and she never disclosed to me about this issue.

I ended up NOT purchasing the vehicle, when i asked her why did she not disclose to me about the damage to the rear bumper, Tanesha told me YOU NEVER ASKED FOR IT , at which point i am thinking, WHAT ELSE THIS CUNNING AND DISHONEST SALESPERSON IS HIDING FROM ME THAT I DID NOT ASK.

Looking back, I found the practises of Germain Toyota of Columbus right from the first phone call misleading and full of deception. THEIR GOAL IS TO ACT HONEST AND GET YOUR MONEY AS FAST AS THEY CAN. Germain Toyota of Columbus COULD SELL YOU A VEHICLE WHICH COULD HAVE A LOT OF HIDDEN DAMAGES, save yourself the trouble and avoid Germain Toyota of Columbus.
