I am just now finding out a couple of things with this company that the public needs to be AWARE of. Their lack of defining exactly what you are buying and the exact benefits that you be will recieving (with anyone I talk to I always take notes to make sure of what I am being told or sold).. BE AWARE...I purchased a plan from Kathleen Baptiste supposed to be a licensed insurance agent with Simple Health Care.. the end of January this year for my plan to take effect 2-1-16. I was led to believe that my health discount would also include ( at no charge) life insurance..because when I initially put my down payment and this administration fee it was only defined as my health premium and dental premium..well to my findings when I had the money pulled out of my account the first month after that down payment there were actually 3 different withdraws out of my bank and that I was paying for..health..life insurance..and dental discounts...I was paying an additional $130.00 for life insurance -- that was told to me that was part of the package and there was no additional fees. Well there is. My husband went to a doctor to only have the doctor spend 5 minutes of his time to have a bill that WE HAD TO PAY of $231.00. The total bill was $271.00 which this discount health paid $50.00. They should have paid $189.70 (70%) plus the $50.00 and then we should have only paid $31.30. In addition to that, I was told initially from Kathleen Baptiste that I would receive 70% off of my health needs at doctor visits / hospital visits / and surgeries..NONE OF WHICH is true...WOW WHAT AN EXPERIENCE WITH A INSURANCE LICENSED PROFESSIONAL??? OR NOT??? AT THIS POINT I AM VERY DISTURBED ABOUT WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD AND WHAT I HAVE ACTUALLY RECEIVED. I have tried a few times to get back in touch with Kathleen Baptiste..but always told she is either not in or not available and doesn t return phone calls. How can you be in a sales position and not want to help your customers or call them back when message(s) are left.. After that experience I tried finding out what exactly my benefits the morning of March 9 and it took me several phone calls and redundant information and about 1 hour of my time to get nowhere.. I took off from work early to get some answers and was on the phone again about 1 1/2 hours trying to figure out who could help me and I was always forwarded to someone else..They told me that I could find it online...NO...and that they would email information. Then I started trying to cancel the life insurance...OH My..what an ordeal..spoke to several people again and then .I finally wound up with JM an asian accent male who I had to tell several times what I have discovered and to get clarity in what I wanted and to have him to understand. Very aggravating!!! I am all about customer service where I manage a vehicle repair shop and that is not at all how you HELP people or educate people on the product that people come to you expecting you to be the professional and YOU Kathleen baptiste and Simple Health Care are far from knowing your product, or you guys are scam artist(s) in telling people what they want to hear and letting them believe that they are buying something else when they are buying something that is NOT at all going to help them with their needs.
