My personal take and impressions:

My personal take and impressions:

This property anchors a shopping center, so parking might be a challenge depending on when you arrive. I managed to get a spot right in front of the hotel, but I attribute that to the time of day (around 2:00 PM). If you re checking in in the evening it may be more difficult.

Open greeting area, lots of seating for meeting with clients if you need to. Bar was off to the right and they had an abundant and well stocked snack shop. You could grab a bag of pretzels and pay for them there or just charge them to your room. Lots of options here and a good thing if you need to stock up on water to get hydrated after long flights.

Front desk assistance was top notch and got me into a different room than the one next to the elevator they had preselected for me. Rooms next to elevators should be free.

Into the elevator and up to the room the hallways were dark and had an industrial look. It wasn t necessarily bad, just not all that inviting in my opinion.

Once I got into the room I wanted to stash some waters and Gatorade that I picked up for the week and then quickly realized I d have to get inventive with the in-room refrigerator. It s very small so if you re staying here for more than a few days don t pick up too many bottles of anything.

The room I ended up in (see #3) was on the backside of the property and facing a major intersection. Very loud. I sort of regret asking them to relocate me.

WiFi is spotty and not entirely reliable. When it did connect it was slow and sometimes web pages would only half-load. It also gave me a hard time with connecting to my company s VPN. Not a good thing if you re staying here for business.

The room itself had a cell-like feel. The dark colors, utilitarian design and modern furniture added to this. The desk lamp didn t work and there wasn t a light switch inside the actual bathroom only a switch next to the room door. There was a good size Samsung TV on the wall though, so that was nice.
Overall, I m not a big fan. May or may not stay at another Aloft in the future.
