Where should I start? This was a terrible experience! First of all I got my reservations 60 days in advance, the longest lead time available. This was going to be the highlight of our trip to Las Vegas and ended up being the low-light. We had reservations for 9:45pm and arrived just before 9:40pm and checked in. We were immediately ushered to the bar to buy drinks in a very crowded, far too small, very uncomfortable bar. Normal tactic to increase the sales tab however. We waited at least 45 minutes even though we had reservations and were then shown to a table directly next to the service entrance. In hind sight I should have said that we would wait for the next available table as this one was a mess. The service entrance was a bottleneck, extremely too small for all the staff to move through and no less that 3 times dropped dishes during our meal. My son was almost hit in the head by one of the oversize trays being carried by the wait staff. The waiter was in a huge hurry to get through the meal and spoke far too fast, like the airline announcements during the safety briefs. The music was too loud adding to our inability to hear him as we caught about every third word. I know that they are trying to be trendy with the music, but it doesn't work! We were given our menus and 10 minutes or more went by before he returned with the meat cart in tow. During that gap my son had to ask for some bread before it was delivered. The waiter again rushed through his brief on the types of meat available, but by this point we had already decided what we wanted and was really of no value but a side show. We ordered a Shrimp cocktail that was simply awful and obviously frozen. I am not fond of paying fresh prices for frozen seafood. Mr. Ramsay would have been appalled and not eaten one bite, I am sure. The steak and potatoes were decent if not a bit over priced. I have had better steaks in many places including Virginia, Singapore, Sydney, and Dubai. It was a bit funny that the best part of the meal was the desert and coffee/tea at the end of the meal. We had the chocolate layer cake and ice cream which were quite tasty with delightful over and under flavors. All in all, not anywhere near worth the price for the food, atmosphere, or service. I wish I had read the other reviews before I went. I hope you have a better experience than we did, but I would recommend staying well clear. There are much better options available.
