This was my first visit to The Globe and I have to say I was very impressed. I was slightly dubious when I heard that the performances were all mic less due to the noisy crowds however I needn't have worried. The sound carried perfectly and at no point was I struggling to hear the performance.

I chose to stand to get the full effect and I think it enhanced the experience although my legs were a bit sore towards the end of the 3 hours. Some of the cast were dotted around amongst the audience making if feel a lot more involved than if it was just on the stage.

This was definitely an experience I want to repeat (although maybe with a seat this time!)
