I am writing today to complain of the poor customer service I received at the Nissan Coggin at the Avenues in Jacksonville FL. I stopped in about 8 weeks ago in regards to my Lease trade in Payoff. I specifically spoke to Jim in finance and the General Manager Mr. Wells.

Mr. Wells and Jim told me at the time not to worry and that they would take care of it. (We exchanged a handshake on it and I left feeling that I did not have to worry that since I spoke directly to the GM (Mr. Wells) it would be addressed)

On Xmas eve 12/24/2015 I received a call from a collection agency regarding the Trade off payment. Much to my surprise Mr. Wells DID NOT meet his promise to pay Nissan.

I stopped into the dealer on 12/29/2015 to speak with Mr. Wells, instead I spoke to Jim and he asked me to go into his office and informed me that they were not making the payment as PROMISED. As I was leaving Jims office I saw that Mr. Wells was in his office and approached him on this matter. He then told me that Jim was mistaken and that he was going to pay Nissan. At which time I requested that Mr. Wells call the collection agency and inform them that he was going to send a check to Nissan. (these calls are recorded)

I have repeatedly called and I have even conference called them (JIM) with the collection agent in regards to the payment. (This has placed a negative on my credit) I never received a response or call back.

I stopped in this Saturday 1/9/2016 and was told by Jim to contact someone in accounts payable. Called today left messages and Surprise NO response.

I trust that this is not the way Nissan Company conducts business with valued customers. I have never encountered such treatment before. I am most disappointed and annoyed that the GM Mr. Wells has not kept his word. Now a day a man s word and handshake is worthless.
