My experience at Peak View was definitely not all bad. A lot of the techs were really great! I absolutely loved the recreational therapists, too but could tell that they weren t given a lot to work with. The worst part of the experience was the psychiatrist Dr. Sohail Punjwani. No one in my unit had a positive experience with him. He was belittling, aggressive, pushy with medication, and didn t listen to the needs of the patients.
Then when I research him, I come to find that he has a criminal record! If you do go to Peak View for help, be sure to ask for a different doctor!
