I went to by a small sized table tennis table. Although on a low level shelf it was wedged in by the bottom skirt of the upper level shelf. This was about ribcage high. It was also barricaded by a full sized free standing advert board. No member of staff to assist with moving the board or to prize the large box out of position. Once I managed after much shuffling , I realised there was no trolley available to carry such a large item. I dragged the box past 3 members of staff who kindly moved out of my way as to carry on their conversations. As I rested next to them they ignored me.
I dragged the table along the floor and another member of staff walked past as if I was glass.
At the check out the cashier waited and watched patiently as I tried to get the bar code close enough. Then I dragged and tugged the box to the exit doors with no offer of assistance to my car or even a glance to see if I had a receipt for it by the security guard.
Staff in here were unapproachable. No one offered assistsnce to anyone as I observed in my struggle. Staff seemed to be zombie like on the shop floor.
