Clean, comfy, and quiet. We did not hear other guests, equipment or service staff. The room felt a bit dated due to colors - browns, oranges and reds. The shower was weak but served its purpose. Hairdryer worked well with good or flow and heat. AC controls were easy to use and room got very cold.
Free parking - yay! Many hotels charge for parking due to location and lack of space for parking. Check in/out was quick, efficient and without a glitch. The layout of hotel is a bit confusing but easy to learn.
Hotel exterior reminded me of a Vegas hotel or a beach hotel and is located a moderate distance from airport. A free shuttle runs every 40 minutes and is timely so don't miss. The shuttle will take you to Schiphol airport; from there, take the train to Amsterdam Centraal Station.
Hotel interior hosts a rich but eccletic feel. Dark carved woods mixed with whimsical art and colors while dotted with crystal chandeliers and ornate light fixtures. The hotel has elaborate remodeling plans set to start or end 2020 (sorry, don't remember which)
The breakfast buffet is worth the 15 EU. They offer a lovely variety of items such as: fresh, whole fruit; sliced fruit and vegetables; breads; pastries; deli sliced meats and cheeses; scrambled or fried eggs; and freshly made pancakes.
We would definitely consider staying again.
