I was really excited about this staycation. However, as soon as we checked in we had learned that the left hand was not talking to the right hand. Initially at registration, and on a call to reserve our room, we had been told that the game room was open from 11-6. On day two when we asked about the game room we were told it was closed.
We scheduled appointments at the spa and the girl on the phone told us that spa closed at 6pm. Scheduled our appointment for 4:00pm and when we were done with our massage, we were excited to go to the rooftop pool only for the staff to tell us it closed at 5. There was no steam room or sauna, and when I asked for a discount because of we had fewer amenities, the girl was rude and said that none of the other clients had a problem with the price. Uhm, I ve been to PLENTY of resort spas with ALL amenities included have never had to pay 200 a person for a massage with NO AMENITIES.
During check out we asked about our $150 credit for restaurant or bar and once again we were told that this didn t apply to us. Super disappointed. Beautiful place but they need to get it together.
