Airbnb is a total scam! STAY AWAY!! They were complicit with my cc info being stolen and used to book a stay on their site for nearly a grand! Customer service is absolute garbage and did nothing to investigate the fraudulent charge. After 8 emails back and forth they concluded it must have been a friend or family member of mine that used my card, despite that NONE OF US HAVE EVER HEARD OF OR USED THEIR SERVICES BEFORE! They are unable to provide a reason why they determined this, not surprising since they have no evidence to support their decision. I had to Google what they were when my bank alerted me of the fraud charges. They still will not refund these charges and do the right thing! They are trash, stay away!
