Reflecting back on 1/2 of a working career given to Leroy Springs I give them 1 star. I couldn t go less! Yes, job security and being a part of the Fort Mill community is great. None of that pays the bills or gains respect on any level. Reflection on time spent there has allowed time to realize the truth. Leroy Springs pays employees substandard wages and expects maximum commitment. Hard work does not equate to higher pay. Top preforming employess don t get any more than employees that just show up. This is true from mid management to hourly employees. A Generous Benefit Package , as they call it, does not make up for low wages that don t coincide with national averages. Not to mention more than half of the employees are part time. Which can t participate in the, Generous Benefit Package , nor is it offered. Wake up Leroy Springs every company your size has benefits. You nickel and dime employees, vendors and contractors to your benefit, in any situation. One would think that a company thrusted into the 21st century by the hard work of locals would have more respect for the community. Not just providing Jobs but ones that allow employees to somewhat prosper in the community. This is far from the truth. While I agree that the services provided by the company are a benefit to the Fort Mill community, I charge every current and prospective employee, to ask themselves, what is your time worth and does this, Non Profit , deserve that commitment for how you are and will be treated and paid. To the members that feed this warm and fuzzy beast, at least respect the employees that provide what you enjoy. It may not be perfect, but it is as good as it can be with the leadership they have.
