We've played here several times over the last year. It is very versatile depending on what time of the year that you play.. Late fall/winter/spring are green and wet fairways. The summer season offers a dry, but fun fairway that allows your drive(s) to bounce and roll a decent amount.
As stated before, if you can learn to play this course, you will do well on other courses in the area.
Overall this has been a great course. The prices are great, beer selection, and snack bar is offered as well. They even give bags of ice to keep your drinks nice and cool.

I always enjoy playing golf at Golf Club of Oregon. The course is lovely, the squirrels running around the course always make me smile, and the driving range is nice. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I've played. I'm not a very experienced golfer, but I never feel rushed or judged when I play at Golf Club of Oregon!

Fun layout with that old school feel.laid back atmosphere that keeps me coming back year after year.Love the tree lined fairways, the course is not as shiny as some but if you can learn to play this track well you can play anywhere.

Excellent Track, 18 of the best golf holes in 100 acres you'll ever find. This layout has a feel that every hole is individual from the next. Great value for the fee, and very well maintained. The Staff are a wonderful group of people, both inside the Pro Shop and out on the Course. Chris Kennel is a great Keeper of the Greens.

Good course. Challenging with tree lined fairways. The greens are a lil bumpy but reasonably well mowed/maintained. Reasonable price for a round. Microbrews in cans, and a snack bar, gots hotdogs. They'll even give ya a bag of ice for your beers.

Easy access to Albany not far off the beaten path, affordable rates, range and putting green, nice atmosphere. Plenty of longer par 3 and 4 holes you will get a nic excersize in if you play 18, not too technical of a course, great for beginners and intermediate players a couple advanced holes and a few places where you might lose a ball or two, no water hazards.

Had an issue with another golfer on the course. No big deal, but tried to bring it to the attention of the taller, older gentleman with glasses and baseball cap working the front counter. He couldn't have cared less. He walked away mid-sentence and completely ignored me. I could see his eyes glaze over the second he realized I had a complaint. The culture out here is apparently garbage and they don't care about their customers at all. His attitude and demeanor were of complete exhaustion. He obviously doesn't care about the customer experience at all and was incredibly rude. Pay the few extra bucks and just go to Springhill, it's worth it to go to a place that cares about their patrons. Also, their greens don't look like they were fried with a blowtorch.

It was challenging yet lovely at same time. Didn't care for driving range stuck in middle of two tee boxes. But eh least they got one. Staff was friendly, and prices weren't too bad either.

A+

To anyone ever thinking of playing GCO, don t! Pay the extra money and go anywhere else. My friend and I went there and we had an issue with another golfer, things happen we let it go, but felt the need to report it. In mid-sentence while trying to explain what happened to the taller, older gentlemen behind the desk, he just walked away from me. Pure cold-shoulder. Absolutely the most inconsiderate and disrespectful thing I ve seen... He was supposed to be in customer service but he said we were just yapping at him. I know there is little to nothing he could have done but all we wanted to do was get it off our chest and he became hostile when we asked why he walked away. It s sad cause even though the course isn t in the best shape it s still cheaper than most, but at this point, Springhill isn t that much more. Given the amount of courses available in the Willamette Valley, don t go to GCO where employees don t care. Go elsewhere. That way you have both better quality employees and fellow golfers.
