I've learned so much over a few months! I get that Dr's are humans too, but the mistake that was made in my case just about killed me. Medications and antibiotics are over prescribed! Antibiotics can be just as dangerous as other medications. I was put on too many antibiotics for too long, according to 3 other specialists. And the side effects destroyed my body. It's no coincidence that I got worse once I was put on 3 antibioitics. Please listen to your patients when they say they aren't feeling better & things are getting worse. It's a hint the antibiotics aren't working & something else is wrong. Please educate your patients on the risks and what medications have FDA black label warnings. Please let patients know it can take 2 yrs to recover from heavy 6 week antibiotic use, according to the CDC. Aftercare/follow up could be alot better too!
