I wasn't expecting to be in the market for a vehic...
I wasn't expecting to be in the market for a vehicle just a few months after purchasing another new-to-me car. But, due to circumstances out of our control, an accident out-of-state last month resulted in my car being totalled.
I didn't have time to do a lot of research, so I set out assuming I'd purchase the same make and model of my previous car. However, a visit to that model's dealership didn't turn up anything that really stood out to me and I left there feeling confused and disappointed.
My next stop was Bobby Rahal Honda. We were browsing the used CR-Vs on the lot. Salesman Brian Hurley came out to assist us. After explain the reason for car shopping, I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't entirely fond of white, black, silver, or tan. Right away, he said, "oh, so you like color!" (He understood me!) He told us about a car that was in the showroom - a beautiful Basque Red CR-V.
We took it for a test drive and I felt a connection with it. But, in the back of my head, I still felt I needed to search harder for a car in the same make and model I had before (my family has been brand loyal for years).
My daughter wanted to see the CR-V, so we stopped in again the next day. She, too, felt it was a good fit for me. Brian encouraged us to put a (refundable) hold on the car and think about it.
Yesterday, I brought my new CR-V home! The purchase process went smoothly and efficiently. Eric in finance was kind and patient. Brian helped us get the car ready to go, right down to (patiently) helping me sync my phone to the system.
I'm pleased with my purchase and hope for many happy years with this car.
I'd recommend Bobby Rahal Honda next time you're in the market for new wheels. Ask for Brian.
