It was a very moving experience. No one speaks as you walk through the house, everyone is in the moment. I was very impressed with the work they have done and how they keep everything as it was. The gift shop was very simple and not over commercialized which I found to be very respectful to the Frank family. I also could have purchased Anne's diary online for cheaper I'm sure but I was happy to get it there to support the museum and also because I wanted to jump right into it and read her story again. Knowing I was coming to Amsterdam this was a must see and it was WORTH it. My only wish is that you could take pictures. I understand why you wouldn't be able to but it's just nice to be able to pack things like that away in the memory bank!
