Let me begin by acknowledging The Women's Treatmen...

Let me begin by acknowledging The Women's Treatment Center, sadly I am appalled by the reviews. The Women's Treatment Center SAVED my life. The staff saved my life. I am truly grateful for the remarkable, over worked, and underpaid "women" yes STAFF, that work there. Beginning with detox Ms. Elise, Ms.Denise and Ms. Keisha*, Ms. Linda too, and the nurses Ms. Jackie and Ms. Marie, when I was feeling my worst they treated me with respect and compassion.
Now, getting honest, residential 4.. Now! that's when it begins. The staff, these remarkable women saved my life.
The program is what you make of it. It is designed accustomed for you - "The addict and the alcoholic who could not manage their lives." The program is set so simply that it is for those who want it, not those that need it. Working from a curriculum of researched material, art therapy, meditation and devotion - to Saturday night ordering out and movies. I am truly grateful for these women. Especially, Ms. Mae*, with her insight, creativity and boldness- Ms. Johnnie, (inspired hobbies & ) Ms. Toya*(honesty with realism) and and Ms. Coleman*(great movies expertise); they give it to you in the raw, still professional and meeting you on your level. That's the only way an alcoholic and addict like me could get it. Also, Ms. Toya introducing the newcomer to an outside meeting weekly, when she could have dismissed it but instilled how important this is.
No Betty Ford, but T.W.T.C saved my life. I acknowledge these women with great respect, for they chose to help women in the grip of this ugly disease. Thank you T.W.T.C. staff of residential 4 & Ms.Gem*, Ms. Curliss* & Ms.Michelle*, Ms. Pam* (treasurer), Ms. Roshandra* (R2). Thank you. You truly are appreciated, and with that I'll keep coming back.
