Poor judgment, poor customer service. My wife just wasted 4 hours of her time for an insulting and unrealistic offer on our RAM. We live in central NH. It's a two hour drive one way to Westborough. She called ahead, explained the mileage and financials to the woman who answers the phone at the dealership. My wife was very clear that she did not want her or the dealership's time wasted. Even after she explained that our truck was a high mileage vehicle she was assured that she should still come down. She drove the two hours only to be insulted with an offer $3,000 under KBB value. I'm certain if we were walking in there to just cut a check for a new vehicle the service would have been outstanding. But intentionally letting someone waste 4 hours of their time shows a lack of good judgment. At no time did we value our trade at $20,000. KBB fair trade on our truck was $10,000 Autobahn insulted us with an offer of $7,000. We did trade the truck in With Key in Portsmouth and they gave us $9,750. I guess I wasn't to far off on my assessment. She implored to the woman on the phone at Autobahn the distance she had to drive and the MILEAGE on our truck and asked if they still wanted to make a deal with us. She WAS assured to come down. If the mileage was the biggest point of concern she should have been respectfully been told they would pass. BELIEVE ME, She would have understood.
