I've been a regular at this game store for nearly two decades and sadly in recent years my opinion of it is a bit of a mixed bag. One big issue is that the store hasn't advanced since it opened nearly three decades ago. Gator's primary adaptation for the modern changes in the gaming industry is adjusting their stock to aim for a generally more casual and younger audience of gamers.
The staff is always great though, friendly and knowledgeable. One or more of the employees will always have personal play experience with any game you could possibly have a question about. That knowledge alone has definitely been known to have my group buy a few games we never would have looked at otherwise.
