Very upset by my experience with Sons Honda. Found the exact truck I wanted. Certified Black Edition! Negotiated everything beforehand. Asked for additional pictures before leaving and noticed something on the hood. SPECIFICALLY asked the salesman about it. He said the paint was great! I DRIVE 4 HOURS TO THE DEALERSHIP. I get there and the truck is perfect, until I get to the hood. And there are rock chips in the paint and then 2 dents but WORSE, someone tried to repair the chips not with matching Honda paint, but just black paint on the chips and blobbed it on (not matching) and looking terrible! This is supposed to be a Honda Certified car, mind you. Now I have driven 4 hours to this dealership. They ve taken my car keys, because they wanted to first to inspect my car. I m ticked off and just want to go. I asked the sales man why he didn t tell me about the hood damage and he says he didn t notice it until I was already on my way down . They mess around asking what can we do to make this better. The sales manager comes out and offers another $500 off the truck. I said no and left. Mind you, the entire transaction was negotiated beforehand. I was to walk in, sign papers and go. They thought I wouldn t walk and I did. I really, really wanted that truck. But they lost all credibility with me and made me wonder what else they didn t tell me. Plus, I don t know what it would cost to paint the hood. Plus, I live 4 hours away so I can t just easily go back to the dealer for any other problems. If you do an internet transaction, buyer beware.
