This is a difficult review... the hotel itself was fine yes it's rather dated but it's a very large hotel and given the price you can hardly expect 5 star modern rooms.
The room we stopped in was ok, there were a couple of things that needed attention, for instance the door to the bathroom had a fist hole through it and the handle on the window was broken off but the bed was clean and there were all the things you'd expect there to be.



However the fun started when it was time to go to bed... we had been out round town for a few drinks and got back to the room around midnight to be treated to what sounded like an Iron Madien tribute act in our room with us. Now I love a bit of rock and metal but this carried on until about 4am. The music was coming from a bar across the back alley from our room and even with both sets of Windows shut it sounded like a radio was on in the room.

Now I know that this isn't the hotels fault.. they didn't put a bar there nor can they control what time they play music till or the volume of the bars that surround the hotel but I feel that people need to know what to expect.. after all that is what reviews are here for.

If you do go to this hotel ask for a room at the front..
