I don't understand the bad reviews. This is one of the nicest properties in all of Lake Tahoe. I have stayed at the Marriott in South Lake Tahoe many times. The rooms are large and clean. The property is very well kept. I never heard any significant amount of noise in the hallway unless I opened the door out to the hall.

During one stay, I did have some college students partying across the hall, but once my front door was closed, I could no hear them, so no big deal.

The pool is heated and nice in both he spring and summer. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Staying at this properties is one of the nicest places I have stayed anywhere.
