Planning to go to the Maldives? No need, Banana island is right here next to Doha and you can get there on the resort s luxurious catamaran in less than half an hour. The island is small, you can walk around in 20 minutes max, but it has everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday, lots of things for kids too. The villas with their private pool are just breathtaking! There are some nice restaurants, a bar on water, game room, cinema, indoor playground, lovely swimming pools and af course the beautiful see! We went during winter holidays and pricewise it was surprisingly good, with no big crowd.
