I stayed at the Aulani for one week as a DVC memeber. Food is overpriced and not worth it. The pools are ok, but the lazy river is great. Rooms are small. I stayed in a deluxe studio that had one queen bed and a pull out couch. I asked for a rolla away and they offered a blow up mattress. They don't have rolla ways from what I was told. The ocean view room is not exactly ocean view. It was of construction and lawn. Ocean was a distance. The pool view room is better. I switched room mid stay. I did encounter lipstick stained drinking glasses in our 1st room and requested new ones, but was met with paper cups. I suggest staying for Max two nights just for the experience of the pool and characters. I didn't feel the Disney touch like I've felt at the Disney Grand Californian in Los Angeles. I'm disappointed.
