I have been to this hospital's ER twice and was not pleased with the waiting time or the service. First, I had severe lung inflammation and they prescribed an inhaler and steroids. I told them that I have psychiatric problems and was on medication and they neglected to inform me that the steroids would make me psychotic. This caused horrible circumstances that almost led to my being arrested. Later I went there for stabbing rectal pains and they did their best to recreate the pain to diagnose it. They couldn't find the problem and I had to go to my GP for pain killers. I've been told that their psychiatric unit is better than Mercy Hospital's, but hopefully I won't have to discover if that's true for myself.
