My institution just received the latest update of the Clinicomp EHR, and it is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!. The older essentris was simple and intuitive and had a great deal of ease of use and functionality built into every screen. This new update/revision is a mess of extra menus and tabs and it takes about 5 more steps to do what use to be able to be done in one step with the older system. They made changes for no apparent reason, and when asked where they got the inputs for the changes they made, the reps only gave vague non answers. Change for the sake of change is not better. We spent years tailoring the old system to serve our needs and Clinicomp erased it all with this Awful update.
