Review of Grubbs Nissan

Terrible Service.

We have purchased 4 cars from Grubbs. I have to hand it to them... they have great prices on cars. Unfortunately, that's the only great thing I have experienced from them.

I took my wife's car in today for the 3rd time on the same issue (tire leak). Before my car door was closed, I was already being set up for their typical blame game ("We'll take a look, but you may need a new tire because of a nail or something"). Of course I know that if it is my fault, I pay for it, but their typical attitude is to blame you.

After that, he told me it would be 45 minutes before they could look at it. For the third time. With almost no apology.

They (finally) found the hole, and told me I would need to buy a new tire. After selling me on the tire, they told me it wasn't in stock. So now they have to sell me on a mis-matched, more expensive tire. Again, no apologies, no offer of a discount for my trouble, and definitely no caring.

After a few circles, I think a supervisor may have come to talk to me (I don't really know... She didn't introduce herself). She did offer to discount the labor for my troubles. No apology, but at least a little discount.

They did reassure me (over and over) that the new tire would be covered if this happens again. Apparently if you buy an entire car (new), the tires aren't covered, but if you buy a single tire it is. She also made sure I knew that this was all my fault for not getting a good enough extended warranty with my new car (I did buy a warranty... But I guess she wasn't impressed with the amount of money they already made from me).

Apparently she didn't realize that I'm not upset for having to buy a tire... That happens. I was upset for the horrible service, lack of caring, slow experience, and being charged a premium for all of it.

I am now at Discount Tire. They will have the whole process complete in 45 minutes for less money than Grubbs was charging, and with a better experience.

Lesson learned... Drive a few extra minutes to the Nissan dealer in Grapevine. Their prices are comparable, and from my experience their service is much better!
