The psysician side is top notch. My whole family goes there. Great doctors and staff and the newest technology available.

However, the side where they sell glasses is horrible. In my thirty-plus years of buying glasses, I have never experienced such incompetence and lies.

I purchased 2 pairs of glasses (sun glasses and regular glasses) and paid upwards of $1500 (insurance and out of pocket). I was told that the thickness of the lenses of the regular glasses can be the same as my current pair since my prescription is the same. The sunglasses, he explained, might be a little thicker but "we can make it thinner at an extra cost of $26" if I don't like it when it is ready.

Because of the location I expected to pay premium prices and I was fine with it. What I didn't expect was the lack of service (and flat out lies) that followed for the next 3 or so weeks.

A week went by and I was told the sunglasses are ready. I was then told the "lab messed up" so they would have to redo it.

Four days later I was told the regular pair is ready. I tried them on and noticed that I can't see far with them. The salesman then said "these are reading glasses...... We discussed it." I told him that "we never discussed that..... Why would I need reading only glasses..... The topic never came up." I also explained to him that I was promised that the thickness of the lenses would be the same as my current pair. He apologized and said "I will have the lab change it..... But you have to pay $26 extra for the thinner lenses." I said "that's fine."

Approximately 2 weeks later both pairs were ready. The sunglass lenses were as thick as coke bottles. They were very heavy and looked ridiculous and he agreed. He said this is the best they can do and that I can pick out another pair. I explained to him that another pair would have the same issue. He said "well this is the best our lab can do because you are paying with insurance." I told him I always use insurance and the other labs were perfectly capable of making thinner lenses." He arrogantly said "this is the best our lab can do."

The regular glasses had thick lenses as well. I told him "my current frames are the same exact size.... Why can't your lab do the same with these new frames?" His answer was that my prescription has changed. I reiterated that my prescription is the same. He didn't believe me so he took my current pair to check. He came back and said "yes your prescription has not changed." Basically he accused me of lying to him.

At this point I was furious with this kind of treatment, incompetence and arrogant attitude. I told him to refund me and I left. An hour later he called to give me 2 options: pick out another pair of sunglasses or get a refund minus half of what was paid by the insurance. I told him that's unacceptable. He put me on hold....... minutes later I was told I would get a full refund.

If you can't do the job, don't waste people's time. This is supposed to be an upscale establishment. Unfortunately it's premium prices with lense crafters treatment.
