The museum was very well done, especially considering the limited space and arrangement of the house they had to work with. We got our pre-booked timed entry tickets with a 15 minute window online before arriving. However, when we arrived at our designated time, we found the line going far out the door and has to stand in the rain for almost 15 minutes before getting inside, only to find the line continued inside. About 30 minutes after we arrived, we were finally let in to the museum, which is basically arranged as a long snake like where everyone shuttles is sequence through the house. A good audio guide is included, with points in most rooms that give background and excerpts from the diary.

Overall, a good museum, but there is no excuse for having a 30 minute wait for a timed entry ticket. If the museum could improve their system for determining how many people they can allow in our hour, this would be a better experience. I would recommend this museum of you are visiting Amsterdam, but be prepared to wait.
