I had to take my car to Honda of Tysons Corner for the Takata airbag recall. The replacement of the airbag was completed without issue and the customer service for that portion of the service was fine. The one star rating is due to the extensive list of additional services they recommended. This is the second time I have taken my car to Honda of Tysons Corner for a warranty replacement. The first time, they gave me a list of recommended services totalling $4k. I declined and took my car to a local mechanic I trust for a second opinion. They could not confirm any of the recommended services being needed. This service experience was no different, as again, they gave me a list of $2k of recommended repairs. Again, I took my car to the local mechanic who could not find the same issues. In fact, Honda of Tysons Corner had recommended two fluid flushes that I had completed just 10 months ago, and many miles before required. They did offer to show me the issues on my car, but I am not a mechanic and would not be able to know whether the services are truly required.
This is very unfortunate, because I had such a great experience buying my car there from Gregg Miah.
