Loses a couple of stars for poor service...seated ...

Loses a couple of stars for poor service...seated over half an hour late and nowhere to wait except in the way. No apology from the maitre d' and only offered a free bottle of wine after some cajoling. Waiter somewhat impersonal and condescending. Should be much better in a venue like this...

That said - the food was very nice, is extremely pricey. The special fish for two (we had turbot) was fantastic, the squid starter showed some excellent cooking and my american colleagues were delighted by the treacle pudding!
