W. Shakespeare built, in 1599, a theatre on a spot nearby this "modern" "replica/reconstruction"... It was built by the American actor and producer, Sam Wannamaker. This theatre works with other groups in presenting Shakespearean plays. One can take an informative tour of the building as well as but tickets for a "most memorable performance". It has been awarded TripAdvisors coveted "Certificate of Excellence" (based on feedback by travellers like you and I). A visit will provide many amazing and interesting memories.
