The roof of the property I rent from Circle Housing has been leaking for 20 years. Irrespective of numerous patch = botched "repairs" the house electricity is now faulty due to water ingress into wiring in the loft. Ceiling boards are rotten. Rain pours through the toilet ceiling, through floorboards & through electric lights below onto the downstairs floor. Almost 2 years ago Circles "Independent Roof Surveyor" stated "The roof felt had perished and cannot tolerate anymore patch repairs. Therefore, the whole roof & felt needs replacing". However, this has not been done. Circles incompetence, total disregard for tenants welfare, the roof leak and consequential condensation, damp, mold & mildew is compromising our physical, emotional & psychological health.
