Rented a pontoon on Saturday 8/22/20 for my wife, in-laws and myself to enjoy. The staff (everyone) was very polite, professional, informative and helpful. Their equipment was top-notch and we could certainly tell it when we were out on Torch Lake and saw the other pontoons from the other rental companies. Had a wonderful time on the lake and did it in class with a beautiful pontoon from Dewitt Marine. Will definitely rent from them again!!!
When boat shopping several weeks ago, Dewitt, and specifically Koren Klumpp , were amazing. We had been looking for a family boat for some time and were up north for just a few days. We went to Dewitt and were immediately taken by the vibe as well as the selection of boats they had for sale. Due to Koren's expertise and willingness to make the sale happen quickly, she was able to finalize the paperwork on a beautiful Bennington Tritoon and have us on the water the very next day. In addition, she secured us a slip for the rest of this summer and as well as storage over the winter. There was a small issue with the Garmin depth finder which was taken care of in short order as part of the detail service one gets when purchasing from Dewitt. Put simply, we love the place, the people, and can't wait to get back. I highly recommend Dewitt Marine.
Nice location on the ClamLake, with easy access from Torch lake Drive. Torch lake is easily accessible from clam lake with hardly 5 minutes ride. Clam shack rental staffs were very friendly and the store is equipped with all needed accessories and even quick bite foods. Very very clean restrooms.
The only annoying experience was the long super scrutiny by 2 staffs while return, while a super casual and quick check while rental, due to that a small scratch on the rubber protection from the previous rental went unnoticed and kind of ended up as I was accountable. But the next day got a courtesy call informing a waiver. Probably he staff were doing their job, but had I known the super scrutiny, would have cared to do a detailed check from my side or even taken pics/video as proof for records prior to leaving.
After a two year break from boating, we returned to Torch Lake and Dewitt Marine this year. In the past we had kept our boat in the covered slips on the north side of the marina and it was a very positive experience. This year we decided to try In/Out service and we were very pleasantly surprised at how well this worked for our needs. The guys running the in/out were at the top of their game. Every time we ordered up our boat to be launched on the Boat Cloud, it was in the water with blowers on and ready to go when we got there. When we returned our boat at the end of the day it was stowed away in the storage building with in minutes.
We had a couple of service and warranty issues that were promptly addressed by the service department. All repairs were made to our satisfaction.
As always the staff at the Clam Shack and gas docks were helpful and courteous. We liked the upgrades and changes to the facilities. It was great to be back at Dewitt and highly recommend this marina for all your boating needs. Looking forward to many more years at Dewitt.

We are part time residents on Torch Lake and use Dewitt s in and out service and have for several years. Since the pandemic happened we did not get to use our pontoon as much this year but last week when there was a beautiful day we did want to go boating. Since we aren t use to being up here at this time Dewitt accommodated us by putting our boat in even though it was past the contract time. We appreciate their service and the staff does their best to go the extra mile for you. We definitely will continue to be customers and will recommend them to anyone who asks. Thanks again
The boat was nice. Clean, like new or new. The staff was wonderful going over all the need to know items prior to us setting sail. They were right there to help navigate our way back into the slip too. Kind, respectful and helpful. Definitely will do again! This time, we will not drop our phone off the end of the boat at the dock.......
The boat was great. More than adequate power for tubing and hauling the whole family and friends around. Really enjoyed Torch lake! It s a special place!
Reservation and filling out forms online is easy, time saving, and super convenient. Staff at check in seemed a little annoyed by us. At check out they were a little more friendly. The young ladies working to gas up the boat were super helpful and friendly.
I was charged a reconditioning fee of over $100 dollars for what was called a chip by the staff, but looked to me like nothing more than a small scrape on the edge of ONE blade. I understand the marina is in business to make a profit, but after charging the rental fee and then gouging customers with gas prices that are double what you pay at the pump for you your car, it seemed ridiculous to collect another $100+ on a boat prop that was just fine to continue renting and will I m certain be reconditioned or replaced before it s put up for sale at the end of the year. I can somewhat understand the gas being jacked up... not many other options. However, if you rent from Dewitt s, better keep that prop looking like new, because they will charge you for anything that looks less than that upon return.
My family has had the good fortune to buy several boats from DeWitt Marine. We have also used their In and Out service, winter storage and now a seasonal dock for our Pontoon.
The boats are terrific but the best part is their service, after the sale. Shawna and the Service Crew are exceptional. Communication is easy and we always feel informed and completely taken care of.
Summer is short and we would all like to be on the lake as much as possible. DeWitt Marine takes care of all the details to make that possible for us.
