If you are able to accept that BMW will create any story to provide a service at an incrediblly escalated price, this is the place to take your BMW.

It is sad when a sales story can be made to charge an oil change at $380.00 and charge $175 to connect your car to the computer to at least give you an idea of the problem when in many cases it s a sensor or could be the gas cap.

Further to these numbers:
To fill a 535d at any convenience station takes 6 minutes and $12.95 for the DEF(diesel emission fluid) for 2.5 gallons. Likely your vehicle already has some level in the tank or your car would tell you.

The BMW charge for the oil Change includes $85 for the cost of the this DEF fluid.

Do the math and you will realize the fleecing that is occurring. Considering the bulk purchase discount BMW must be buying DEF
and I can only estimate their cost is about $3.00.

So the real question is what your willing to pay for price of mind and the tolerance you have for a sales job.

If money is no object drop it off and let them have their way.
