Called to cancel and when they couldn't talk me ou...

Called to cancel and when they couldn't talk me out of it they told me I had to wait 30 days from the notice I gave them to cancel. Don't care what you policy's are my contract ended 6 month's ago I should be able to cancel ANYTIME.....
