I booked a room through Expedia for 2 nights starting tonight. We checked in and immediately noticed a bug in the bathroom sink and rinsed it down after taking a photo of it. Then we noticed another on the ceiling, another on the curtains and another on the wall! We called the front desk and they sent a staff member up by the name of Michael. He said those type of bugs are common in the area and not of any concern, but moved us to another room. I googled the photos I took and found out that they are silverfish.
I then found one on the wall in the new room and never even opened up a suitcase in that place. I moved my luggage to the car and went down to the front desk to just get a refund and leave. Michael then suggested that perhaps these silverfish where coming out of my luggage? I yelled at him and his manager. I asked the shift manager how could no other guests notice this ? She said "there have been some problems. "I did manage to get a great king suite at the Hilton across the bridge in Vancouver Washington.
This place obviously has a pest infestation that is out of control. I can't believe this slum has the reviews that it does.
