From the first time I stepped into the store I knew that I was going to get a new experience than from what I expected from a department store. Here I was a junior in college and I needed an internship in the community and the owner of Lily's Bee's (Melanie) was right there eagerly willing to help. Fast forward four years and here I am writing a review to let people know-how at home Lily Bee's can make you feel and what it can provide you education-wise. Personally I have learned so much about the fashion industry and being a small business owner from Melanie. It is amazing the amount of time she has spent and is willing to spend on someone in order to help them. I also have seen how caring Melanie is with her customers and how much she loves her store and the people who come in. All of the store items are handpicked with care in mind by Melanie and she is always looking for the best quality clothing so that others may appreciate and keep using said item hopefully for years to come. I am still in love with the store and the atmosphere it provides to anyone willing to come in. So please if you come in and don't have the experience I have had, try again on another day because I am sure it is just an off day or miss communication that is happening. I mean we all have bad days, right? Because I assure anyone, if you are willing to spend the time to talk and get to know the people in the store, they will give you more than what you came to buy.
