What a disappointment this place was. We went in for dinner because it looked busy and popular on a Friday night. We should've known from the clientele in here (drunks and old white families) that the food caters to a basic palate. I would take the high reviews for this place with a pinch of salt.
My parma cost $23 dollars, it was tiny (maybe 1/3 of the plate if i'm being very generous), it was dry, overcooked. The topping was simply cheap ham and sauce out of a bottle and some cheese slapped on top. In hindsight, I should've forked out a few dollars more and gotten a delicious and huge parma from Mrs Parmas with an abundance of difference toppings.
My partner's southern fried chicken was equally lacklustre. Bread was a cheap brioche, it broke apart in her hands like the crappy hotdog breads you buy at supermarkets. I think the kitchen here think "Southern Fried" means oily, tough and flavourless, because they nailed it. Suffice it to say if you spent $20 anywhere else in the CBD, you'd be hardpressed to find a worse burger (and have some change!).
