(Food)- Didnt eat there that much.

(Food)- Didnt eat there that much.

Library and access to learning tools- Excellent

Tutoring availability and help- Excellent

Cleanliness of college- Good, sometimes the bathrooms were a tad messy but other than that it was pretty good

(Security)-I do feel that there needs to be more security on campus. I did not feel safe on that campus at all. There really should be more cops on campus and workshops about active shooter training. Just because you go to a small town college doesnt mean that something cant happen there.

(My specified program)-The program I was in was good but fast paced and intensive. So it is not for people who are just trying to see what they want to do. It is for those who are driven and passionate about being a vet tech. I do think that some of the classes would be best to take alone to really absorb more material like Parisitology and pathology and or anatomy and physiology. However, because of how condensed the program is that really isnt an option unless you want to wait another year before going back into the program. So you really cant learn at your own pace.
The professors in that program were accommodating and helpful if you had proven you were a hardworking student. The professors were knowledgeable and know the ins and outs of the profession and techniques. They keep up to date on their medical knowledge (as anyone in the medical field should.) However, a couple of the professors in my particular program were arrogant and could be condescending (not ALL of them). They are that way because they are good at what they do but also because they are under so much stress. But for me and some other students it is not conducive for self confidence. I found some of the vet tech professors unapproachable.. But again, this is a stressful program for everyone involved. So, Im sure that was a lot of the reason there was unapproachable tendencies.
Just make sure that the vet tech program is what you want because it is very intensive. Also, if you go into this program be thick skinned and determined. If it isnt what you want to do for the rest of your life, it will eat you alive lol..

Random note about a couple professors- I found a couple professors in general education classes to be unprofessional in the light of crude joking and very out of place sexual humor. When you are 20 years older than a group of students that really isnt something that should be brought up in a classroom setting. However most of the gen ed professors that were there were professional. I strongly feel that should be addressed. It's just uncouth. I also felt that this could not be addressed because many professors did not want you to record their lecture. Which in my opinion strips them of accountability in being professional educators.

Advisement- It was okay. I guess what needed to get done got done. (for instance scheduling)

Counseling services- I did not use

Lab instructions and help- Decent.
