traveling around in San Francisco can be a logistical nightmare so make sure you have a current map running in unnecessary GPS if you are driving here which I did. If you want to see San Francisco properly, rent a car. If you're interested in going to places like the Golden Gate Bridge, NW, The Presidio/GGB SW, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf, you will need to drive a rental or have deep pockets for Cab.
