Wow, what an amazing experience. This museum is well planned out and very respectful of the families who lived there. Pre-reserving is highly recommended, but slots fill way in advance. We weren't able to reserve ahead of time, but got in quickly because we went on a rainy day - not many people wanted to stand in line in the rain... We had our own umbrellas, but noticed that they were lending them out as well.
