We went to this restaurant to celebrate my niece's graduation from the University of Hawaii.

Since we arrived at the restaurant before my niece, we though that her boyfriend had made a reservation for our party, so we told the hostess that we had a reservation for 20 people but it was only going to be 12 people. The hostess seem very irritated by this and made a rude comment by saying "Now I have to go change the tables around". Not knowing that we didn't have reservations, the hostess finally sat us down at the table after 10 minutes.

After getting situated at the table and getting ready to order, the hostess came up to our table and told us that we had to move because we didn't have reservations. I cant believe we were asked to move. I understand that it was partially our fault for not having a reservation but it was also the hostess fault for not checking her reservation schedule to see if we had a reservation or not.

After moving to another table, we complained to the manager about the hostess' rudeness of moving us from one table to another. The manager was very understanding and informed us that he will speak to the hostess. For our troubles, he gave us a free order of rice on the house. It was a good sentiment on his part but rice is a fairly cheap dish so it didn't really say much on how he was trying compliment us on our troubles.

Although we had issues, we made the best of our graduation celebration for my niece.

The food was very good at the restaurant. I would recommend the Kim Chee fried rice, and the Pork chops. Also, some of their mixed drinks were very tasty.

If it wasnt for the bad service we received at this restaurant, I would given a 4 star for the food and drinks.
