Erin Talburt is professional, fun, and the best possible guide when it comes to buying a first home. Erin worked with me for weeks prior to submitting an offer--honing my tastes and encouraging me to not lose hope for what I want. (Hard in this market!!) After weeks of what felt like tireless searching (I was completely impressed with her dedication to my cause!), we found a good opportunity.

We were quickly under contract (thanks to Erin, I was able to sign while on a mountain bike ride!). Then the real work began and her skills became evident. Right off the bat she set me up with a lender who quickly outperformed all others. Then the house underperformed at the inspection AND at the appraisal which made for tough negotiating. Erin was absolutely professional and taught me so much through the process. Mainly how to understand the magnitude of the problems and how to negotiate.

To add some detail, she helped me obtain estimates for EVERYTHING that was listed in the inspection. That way, no matter how the negotiation went, I would feel comfortable with the outcome. She also set up bids while I was away at work and she handled them herself. This was beyond helpful and I was constantly impressed with her commitment to making sure this was what I wanted!

Through closing she continued to ensure I knew what I'm getting into as a homeowner--quite the involved process! I walked into my home proud of my accomplishment, confident with my decisions, and so pleased to have a new friend--Erin Talburt. I can't recommend her enough.
