Had a wonderful stay in the beautiful van der valk Schiphol hotel of 2 nights and booked through Groupon. Checked in on my birthday and was upgraded to a 3pers room with whirlpool, on arrival in the spacious room there was a nice message waiting for me, what a nice surprise, a small gesture really works wonders! The staff were lovely, from front desk to room service and buffet breakfast with gloves on, nothing to fault. Van der valk Schiphol really deserves a treat when it comes to good food and coffee throughout the hotel. How delicious the tournedos and entrecote were, applause for the chef! We also found the 24/7 self-service food market very convenient, just like a convenience store in Asia in the hotel, but for a simple snack. The pool was open and was wonderfully quiet, which is now very nice with COVID-19. Unfortunately, the wellness was not yet open to guests due to the circumstances. Was our first staycation experience, 1 word .... TOP! Love to come back again!
